I was very glad to hear that there are people who like the fabric I have chosen for the sofa. Unfortunately there is a long waiting time 6-8 weeks. I would be more than happy to get some help placing the furniture as well as choosing the soft furnishing. The colour I have fell in love is teal but open for any recommendations. Leelee, thank you for your comments. The cabinet in the corner has been bugging me since we moved to the house. I'm so excited getting finally a new look to my livingroom that I wanted to try something different with my current furniture. the cabinet is no longer in the livingroom and I feel so much better. Regarding the painting, it needs to wait until the new furniture has arrived. I will take a photo and post it later. By the way, we are getting a new king size ensemble tomorrow and would like to get some help to refresh the look. Our old mattress has been a queen size, so need to get a new bedhead as well. I'm going to create a new post of it.

It is a bit confusing when it comes to leather - there's terminology like "aniline" and "natural grain bovine" ...which can make sofa shopping even more frustrating. I agree with the above statement but if you were to pick grey to go with it don't make it too dark you can add options of the emerald green on a lighter grey sofa in those colours of emerald green to tie it all together with cushions and throws I feel the sofa you already have is beautiful and should be focal point with the other taking a lesser focal but as stated tie it all together with that beautiful emerald green as accessories but don't over do it less is more so to speak take photos to show the people you want to buy another sofa from or even a swatch of the material. If you intend to buy a rug try for the lighter grey with hints of the emerald if you can find it, keep it soft and neutral but tie it in so that the whole area flows and looks classy, Good luck, PS some places let you pay for a rug and take it home to try and can return if it is not suitable so ask for that option.

You are right - leather is the go. You could combine a soft and mid grey, or bone and tan, depending on what palette you like. You are looking for the 2 sofas to relate to each other rather than matchy matchy? My preferred look too. You could use the same sofa in different shades, that's an easy get together. Or decide on one being more of a standout - like a mid century style wooden sofa with leather cushions, and then keep the other one simple. The top photo is that mid century style and the bottom shows a sofa that would coordinate with it. (similar wood legs and square edges). I know it's in fabric but it comes in leather. And it shows you what 2 of the same sofa in different colours would look like (both leather of course).
