I was very glad to hear that there are people who like the fabric I have chosen for the sofa. Unfortunately there is a long waiting time 6-8 weeks. I would be more than happy to get some help placing the furniture as well as choosing the soft furnishing. The colour I have fell in love is teal but open for any recommendations. Leelee, thank you for your comments. The cabinet in the corner has been bugging me since we moved to the house. I'm so excited getting finally a new look to my livingroom that I wanted to try something different with my current furniture. the cabinet is no longer in the livingroom and I feel so much better. Regarding the painting, it needs to wait until the new furniture has arrived. I will take a photo and post it later. By the way, we are getting a new king size ensemble tomorrow and would like to get some help to refresh the look. Our old mattress has been a queen size, so need to get a new bedhead as well. I'm going to create a new post of it.

We ate out quite a lot ..I used to take the kids out when they were babies..breast feeding in the corner ..they grew up eating out so know how to behave ..not so some kids I know..no manners ..putting bones on tablecloth instead of a plate..slurping ..stuffing their faces..food dropped everywhere.. I must be old too..I'm cranky as ..if my kids can behave then I expect the same from others..

Hello, I agree the black fur is not harmonious with the rest. I would like to see you pick up the metallic tone such as those on your coffee table. If you can't get want to want just wait until you see it. Could go with the blue as suggested by others. I am not convinced the coffee table is right with the rug- Try removing the rug and check the effect of the scheme overall. It does work well with your painting though.
