Thanks to you all.... I've been overthinking this a bit too much. The hallway is somewhat dark when all doors are closed - winter time when the heater is on. So, I decided to embrace the dark - hence the hitchcock posters!!! I had thought of putting in a solar tube - we have one in the bathroom, which works wonderfully. So that could be an option for later - I'll have to start saving!!! The frames I purchased are very plain, black timber and only 2cm deep, so don't encroach too much into the space. Do you think I should go for 4 or 5 slightly larger frames, or opt for the smaller 9 frames???? Thanks again for your assistance...
