We selected a shaker style kitchen to pair with the properties more traditional features such as cornicing and wall panelling. To add a modern twist we specified a concrete effect quartz worktop and industrial brass handles. Storage included open shelves for displaying personal possessions and bespoke cabinets all the way to the ceiling for additional storage along with a tiled splash back

Nestled in the coastal village of Old Hunstanton, this bespoke kitchen was designed as part of a complete renovation of a beautiful family home. Working closely with our clients, architects, builders and local trades, our goal was to create a space that felt entirely at home within the architecture while providing everything needed for modern family living. The design combines classic painted cabinetry with natural timber accents and carefully selected materials to create a calm, timeless interior inspired by its North Norfolk surroundings. Every detail was considered, from the generous island and handcrafted end panels to the practical pantry and utility room, ensuring the home works effortlessly for everyday life. Throughout the project we collaborated closely with the wider construction team, refining details on site and coordinating each stage from design through to installation. The result is a kitchen that feels elegant without being overly formal, balancing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary functionality. Key features include a bespoke painted kitchen, solid timber detailing, a large central island, Fisher & Paykel appliances, quartz worktops with a traditional ogee edge profile and carefully considered lighting to enhance both the atmosphere and practicality of the space. This project reflects our belief that the best kitchens are those that feel as though they have always belonged in the home—beautifully detailed, highly functional and designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.
