This is an example of a small contemporary u-shaped open plan kitchen in Manchester with an integrated sink, flat-panel cabinets, beige cabinets, solid surface benchtops, white splashback, black appliances, light hardwood floors, no island and yellow benchtop.

This kitchen is full of colour and pattern clashes and we love it! This kitchen is full of tricks to make the most out of all the space. We have created a breakfast cupboard behind 2 pocket doors to give a sense of luxury to the space. A hidden extractor is a must for us at Studio Dean, and in this property it is hidden behind the peach wooden latting. Another feature of this space was the bench seat, added so the client could have their breakfasts in the morning in their new kitchen. We love how playful and fun this space in!

This kitchen was designed to be hidden away. Our clients can hold drinks parties and soirees without their kitchen being on show. A rolling library ladder makes full use of the 4metre ceiling height with extra storage. We took a mould of the original coving so the new cabinets look like they have always been part of the original room

The kitchen was extended and wrapped around the glazed eastern wall to make it fully functional. Integrated appliances create a seamless look, while a freestanding cooker is a stand-out piece.

Contemporary open plan kitchen dining space with Scandinavian, Rustic and Moorish elements. This had been a dated and gloomy space but the fresh neutral colour palette and use of light oak has really lifted the rooms making it feel light and more spacious.

Sally was asked to design and oversee the complete refurbishment of this stunning yet poorly converted one bedroom apartment set in a handsome period mansion block on the outskirts of Covent Garden in Central London. Enormously high ceilings give this apartment a New York lofty feel while large original windows flood the space with natural light. Sally discovered that original windows and decorative pillars had been boarded up and so immediately set about reinstating these unique period features. A streamlined kitchen with expansive lightly veined worktops and contemporary oak cabinetry was designed to compliment a classic oak parquet floor, giving the apartment a light, contemporary and natural feel.

This contemporary kitchen was designed and installed by KCA as part of a renovation of the garden apartment in a Grade II listed property in New Town, Edinburgh by Barclay Interiors. The project has been shortlisted for an International Design and Architecture award. As space was limited, the kitchen is built along one wall with two large windows to allow natural light to flow into the space. The light colour scheme ensures that the kitchen feels bright and also complements the overall interior design style of the apartment. Open shelving creates practical storage space, whilst creating an area to display objects and accessories that add personality to the kitchen. The polished white Macaubus worktops complement the light colour scheme whilst adding interest and the horizontal veining enhances the feeling of space. As the apartment is a luxury holiday rental, the kitchen had to be easy to maintain and highly durable so handleless, laminate cabinetry was chosen. To maintain the minimalist design, many of the appliances were integrated to hide them away with only the Siemens oven and induction hob on show. This JT Classic in Corian® bespoke kitchen was installed in our clients' London residence as part of a complete refurbishment undertaken by Nash Baker Architects. A key element of the brief was to design a completely fitted kitchen yet not disturb the interior architecture of the Grade II-listed building. As part of our response to this we introduced a new feature in the form of 'coved' Corian® upstands at the worktop edges - a simple yet elegant and effective design detail. This kitchen is a wheelchair accessible kitchen designed by Adam Thomas of Design Matters. With two separate height-adjustable worktops, acrylic doors and brushed steel handles for comfortable use with impaired grip. The two Corian worktops are fully height adjustable and have raised edges on all four sides to contain hot spills and reduce the risk of injury. The integrated sink is special depth to enable good wheelchair access with minimal plumbing supplies. Note the complete absence of trailing wires and plumbing supplies under worktop height. They are contained in a space behind the modesty panel. There are safety stops on all four edges of the rise and fall units, including the bottom edge of the modesty panel, to protect feet.
