‘Oh What A Ceiling!’ ingeniously transformed a tired mid-century brick veneer house into a suburban oasis for a multigenerational family. Our clients, Gabby and Peter, came to us with a desire to reimagine their ageing home such that it could better cater to their modern lifestyles, accommodate those of their adult children and grandchildren, and provide a more intimate and meaningful connection with their garden. The renovation would reinvigorate their home and allow them to re-engage with their passions for cooking and sewing, and explore their skills in the garden and workshop.

Contemporary villa overlooking the hills of Orvieto, designed to combine traditional Italian architecture with refined modern living. Natural stone façades, elegant terraces and carefully proportioned volumes create a timeless and harmonious composition fully integrated into the surrounding landscape. The project emphasizes light, outdoor living and material authenticity, creating a sophisticated countryside retreat with panoramic views and understated Mediterranean elegance.

Die neue Terrassenüberdachung sollte als dreiseitiger Anbau an das Landhaus erfolgen. Wichtig war den beiden Eigentümern zudem, dass sich die architektonische Gestaltung unaufdringlich in die paradiesische Gartenanlage integriert, ohne zu dominieren. Die Inhaber wählten daher sehr bewusst die Ausführung des SKYROOF Lamellendachs in strahlendem Weiß, passend zur Holzvertäfelung des Haupthauses. Naturnah Sitzen, mittendrin mit schönster Aussicht. Ob erste Frühblüher, laue Sommernächte, goldene Herbsttage oder knirschender Schnee – unter dem SKYROOF Lamellendach wurde ein eleganter, geschützter Wohnraum geschaffen, der jede Jahreszeit genießen lässt.

Der gläserne Anbau von Solarlux ergänzt das Einfamilienhaus hervorragend und bereichert die Terrasse.

The owners of this delightful garden in Hassocks had an old-fashioned softwood decking that had seen better days. The hedging and wooden balustrades were obscuring the view of the rest of the garden and this was the main reason for the project.
