THE BRIEF Restructuring the main downstairs living area was a key priority for our clients as they moved into their new home in Bath. As part of the changes, the original kitchen area was to be moved from the rear of the property to the front. Our design team worked with the associated professionals to reimagine the kitchen and internal layout. The goal was to maximise the usable space for cooking and storage functionality while creating a seamless integration with the dining/living areas.

Una mini casetta su due livelli, nascosta all’interno in un giardino dal sapore antico, ridondante di alberi di agrumi e piante mediterranee, accessibile attraverso un viale realizzato con frammenti, più o meno casuali, di piastrelle di risulta e riciclo. Luoghi con le loro preesistenze che raccontano una storia di famiglia con la quale il progetto vuole dialogare in maniera contemporanea, utilizzando tale linguaggio stilistico ereditato come ispirazione per il nuovo restyling. Audaci contrasti ed abbinamenti definiscono coraggiosamente il design degli spazi dalle ridotte dimensioni.

Una cucina che scompare nella parete, trasformandosi in una presenza architettonica essenziale. Il bronzo opaco incontra l’antracite creando profondità visiva, mentre i pensili bianchi alleggeriscono la composizione. Il tavolo in marmo e le sedute bordeaux completano lo spazio con tocchi materici e cromatici sofisticati. Una soluzione perfetta per chi desidera massima funzionalità in spazi ridotti, senza rinunciare al carattere.
