A classic farmhouse kitchen with warm tumbled stone flooring. An AGA range cooker with exposed flu add to the rustic function over form styling. Our customer was keen to not have any wall units to increase light and maintain a sense of space. As a result, clever storage solutions were required such as a worktop standing bi-fold dresser, a larder in the original fireplace/hearth aperture, a free standing dresser with full stave lacquered oak worktop and a free standing american fridge freezer framed either side with larder towers.

We loved working on this project in Gerrards Cross to create a dream kitchen and dining area for a family of four who love to cook and spend time together with family and friends. This project actually has two Nickleby kitchens in one space – there is the main kitchen with the AGA run and island, and a second prep kitchen with a Nickleby prep table, large countertop cupboards and banquette seating. This is an incredible space – really light and airy – with views across the beautiful garden. As with all our projects, for us it is all about the look and feel of the kitchens – and when you walk into this project it is super calm and welcoming – a wonderful space for the whole family to enjoy. Spacious handmade kitchen with 15 drawers and 25 doors, plenty of storage, a bespoke pantry cupboard. The island is finished in Rectory Red and the main cabinetry is finished in London Clay.

High vaulted ceilings with lime-washed beams create a sense of grandure making this large bespoke kitchen feel light and spacious. A large faux mantle over the range cooker lead the eye upwards while the central island makes the most of the rooms length. With generous space around the island this kitchen was designed for entertaining and large family gatherings. The bi-fold dressers either side of the mantle were an essential on our customers wish-list, enabling every-day kitchen tools to be tucked away quickly and easily.
