This beautiful hand painted railing kitchen was designed by wood works Brighton. The idea was for the kitchen to blend seamlessly into the grand room. The kitchen island is on castor wheels so it can be moved for dancing. This is a luxurious kitchen for a great family to enjoy.

This luxury kitchen forms part of a wider home renovation and focuses on classic detailing with a crisp, high-end finish. The design uses a practical L-shaped layout centred around a statement island, finished with black granite worktops for strong contrast and durability. The cabinetry is a traditional, elevated style with refined mouldings, glass-front display units, and integrated storage solutions including wine storage within the island. A reflective mirrored tile splashback enhances light across the working area, while the feature chandelier and ceiling spotlights complete the layered lighting scheme. The result is a timeless, premium kitchen that feels elegant, structured, and built to last.

Very early in the design of this home Sonya Cotter spotted this stunning stone slab and knew that it was the focal point and drama the kitchen needed. We showcased the stones natural flow by waterfalling it gracefully to the floor.

A fresh take on a French Provincial kitchen with a matching buffet & hutch was on order for this delightful Federation style cottage on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. With the warmth of a bygone era this kitchen does not lack the modern conveniences of contemporary living and offers a timeless solution for the homeowners. One of the main considerations for the homeowners, in the redesign of their kitchen, was to incorporate an integrated refrigerator. The new integrated Liebherr french door fridge with double freezer drawers fits seamlessly into the space, hidden behind matching cabinetry panels. The room is topped of with stunning textured granite benchtops on the main kitchen area and beautiful natural timber on the buffet and hutch. Simon Taylor Furniture was commissioned to design and make an elegant in-frame Shaker kitchen for a couple in a detached Georgian house in a semi-rural setting at the end of a village in Aylesbury Vale, Buckinghamshire. The clients wanted the kitchen to have modern features and contemporary appliances but for the look to be in harmony with the rest of their property. The 30m² ground floor space had always been the kitchen and it has lots of natural light shining in from two aspects. Ornate architraves surround each of the leaded windows that feature recently restored original wooden shutters on either side of the deep set window sills, making an outstanding feature of the room. The bespoke kitchen furniture was designed, made and handpainted in Farrow & Ball Mole’s Breath for the island and Purbeck Stone for the cabinetry to perfectly complement these heritage features, which were also painted in Purbeck Stone. At the start of the project, the clients specified that they wanted a breakfast area with integrated Shaker style tongue and groove bench seating within the kitchen itself. They have a separate formal dining room, so this was to be designed for more informal occasions. They also wanted lots of storage including a pantry cupboard, a bi-fold breakfast cupboard, pull out drawers for pots and pans and open shelving for cookery books. They wanted to have a kitchen island included for food preparation, but not for cooking and all of these requirements were incorporated within the design. As keen cooks, they also requested top of the range kitchen appliances and Miele Generation 7000 appliances were specified including an 80cm induction hob, 60cm Oven, 45cm Combination Steam Oven and 29cm warming drawer plus a 60cm fully integrated dishwasher. The French door fridge freezer is by Fisher and Paykel and a concealed canopy hood is by Siemens. The worksurface is 30mm Andromeda White Granite throughout; a classic pale granite from Sri Lanka with sharks nose edging that the clients had seen in the Simon Taylor Furniture showroom. A large double bowl sink is from the Zen 15 range from 1810 Company and the Mix lever tap is by Perrin and Rowe, with a further Boiling Water tap by Quooker.

More than just a kitchen, this beautifully spacious and light room makes this Classic English Kitchen by Hutton England a space for living, lounging, cooking & dining. The large 5 oven Aga nestled beneath the grande faux mantle and the oak accents give this room a warm, homely feel. The classic english styling of the room is further emphasised by the simplicity of the pallette; the softness of the light grey cabinets balances the bold, deep green of the island complementing the natural spledour of the granite which ranges from rich emeralds to dark british racing greens. A suite of larders and integrated fridge freezers at the other side of the island add a bold splash of our customers flair and personality whilst reflecting the lighter greens of the granite opposite. A refreshing change from the more fashionable calm grey's and cool blue's, this dramatic and atmospheric space shows just how diverse our Classic English Kitchens can look and if you want to be a little different, you can be.

This kitchen was commissioned by a very well-known interior designer, based in central London, for her own home. She was very keen to have a kitchen inspired by Biedermeier furniture. Biedermeier was an influential style of furniture design from Germany in the early 1800s, based on utilitarian principles. It came to describe a simpler interpretation of the French Empire style of Napoleon I: with clean lines and a simple, elegant look. With this brief, a bespoke kitchen was made from maple with birds eye maple panelling and ebonised black detailing. Black granite work surfaces and black appliances all combine to create an extremely elegant kitchen with a neoclassical and sophisticated look. The design and placing of the cabinets and sink, the central island and the kitchen table all mean that this is a hugely practical kitchen, able to cater for and accommodate a large number of guests. In March 2017 I was approached by a couple who had recently purchased a property in Lowther Village, a conservation village on the edge of the Lowther Castle estate. The property needed completely refurbishing before it could be used as a second home and holiday let. The property is grade II* listed and in addition to designing and project managing the refurbishment I obtained the listed building consent on their behalf. The application was submitted in May 2017 and approved at the end of July 2017. Work was completed in October 2017 and the property is now available for rental via Cumbrian Cottages.
