Our clients had recently acquired the 'Essex Family home', when they decided to call upon our services. It was obvious, from the offset they had a very clear vision to include a 'Luxe' feel using accents of gold and black with highlights of bold colours. To achieve a layered and interesting look we selected very textural fabrics using velvet, faux fur, animal print and metallics. A few statement and retro furniture items came together to complete a very quirky and individual space.

Part of our Manor House range, this handmade kitchen features a traditional raised panel door style finished in a colour match to Farrow and Ball House White with cracked porcelain & bronze handles. A Falcon induction range cooker and Westin extractor stand as a main focal point with top range Miele appliances complimenting. Sinks are Ribchesters from Shaws of Darwen and taps are 24ct gold plated from Perrin & Rowe special finish selection. The counter tops are Strata Premium Black with waterfall edge profile.

After our initial consultation with the clients, it was clear they wanted to inject some personality into their home. With teenage children, and a busy lifestyle, the spaces needed to feel relaxed and cosy, perfect for when they arrived home, after a busy day to chill out and put their feet up. Both were eager to inject some colour and vibrancy into the rooms, to offset the natural original features of the house. The walls in a lot of the areas were beamed, so we decided to opt for warm, complimentary paint shades, whilst introducing pattern by way of cushions, furniture and window treatments. Working with the client’s colour preferences, we were keen to achieve a flow through the property using accents of this in each room, conscious to also give each area its own unique feel.
