The loft is converted into a study / spare bedroom. The loft’s sliding partition opens onto the precisely integrated feature stair to provide seamless spatial continuity. Circulation feels like an extension of the room rather than a separate area. The overall dormer and sloping ceiling configuration presents a perfect home office niche where storage shelves and a bespoke desk are placed. When seated at the cantilevering desk, multiple seating orientations allow flexibility of working while enjoying ample daylight and views out of the dormer window and skylights.

Ce bureau de 20m2 situé avenue des Ternes bénéficie d’une très belle luminosité grâce à ses grandes fenêtres. Pour le personnaliser, nous avons choisi un concept « urban chic », alliant matières brutes et authentiques, et apportant une touche de raffinement pour adoucir et réchauffer l’atmosphère. Deux espaces ont été créés : le bureau de travail et un coin salon. Pour délimiter le coin bureau, une trame murale sur laquelle peuvent être posés de petits objets de décoration. Un petit meuble sur mesure cache un mini bar fermé à l’aide d’une porte coulissante, et des étagères de rangement. Le mobilier et les luminaires ont été soigneusement choisis. Les fauteuils sont signés Charles & Ray Eames, les tables basses designées par Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec (Vitra). La lampe à poser Anima, créée par Jean-Michel Wilmotte, est une oeuvre à part entière. Les lignes épurées et les couleurs sobres se combinent pour former un ensemble élégant et harmonieux.

Using a warm grey as a background, I turned to Ikea for the desk and work surface. A cowhide brings warmth to the space.
