Traditional Black, Beige Eat-in Kitchen with Granite Benchtops Design Ideas

A kitchen finished in 2013 for a local client in Winkfield. Photographed in August 2017. The design includes bespoke Davonport furniture, a combination of Miele and Siemens appliances and Kashmir white granite. The original kitchen included a back door and window combination that restricted light and flow of the space. Working closely with the client throughout the design process, new bi-folding doors were incorporated, to give the indoor/outdoor space they desired and enable them to make the most of the afternoon and evening sun. Features such as the Butler's Pantry and open-ended island were added to provide extra character and charm to the design.

This beautiful hand painted railing kitchen was designed by wood works Brighton. The idea was for the kitchen to blend seamlessly into the grand room. The kitchen island is on castor wheels so it can be moved for dancing. This is a luxurious kitchen for a great family to enjoy.

This is an example of a large traditional eat-in kitchen in Hampshire with a farmhouse sink, shaker cabinets, grey cabinets, granite benchtops, ceramic splashback, coloured appliances, porcelain floors and with island.

This elegant, classic painted kitchen was designed and made by Tim Wood to act as the hub of this busy family house in Kensington, London. The kitchen has many elements adding to its traditional charm, such as Shaker-style peg rails, an integrated larder unit, wall inset spice racks and a limestone floor. A richly toned iroko worktop adds warmth to the scheme, whilst honed Nero Impala granite upstands feature decorative edging and cabinet doors take on a classic style painted in Farrow & Ball's pale powder green. A decorative plasterer was even hired to install cornicing above the wall units to give the cabinetry an original feel. But despite its homely qualities, the kitchen is packed with top-spec appliances behind the cabinetry doors. There are two large fridge freezers featuring icemakers and motorised shelves that move up and down for improved access, in addition to a wine fridge with individually controlled zones for red and white wines. These are teamed with two super-quiet dishwashers that boast 30-minute quick washes, a 1000W microwave with grill, and a steam oven with various moisture settings. The steam oven provides a restaurant quality of food, as you can adjust moisture and temperature levels to achieve magnificent flavours whilst retaining most of the nutrients, including minerals and vitamins. The La Cornue oven, which is hand-made in Paris, is in brushed nickel, stainless steel and shiny black. It is one of the most amazing ovens you can buy and is used by many top Michelin rated chefs. It has domed cavity ovens for better baking results and makes a really impressive focal point too. Completing the line-up of modern technologies are a bespoke remote controlled extractor designed by Tim Wood with an external motor to minimise noise, a boiling and chilled water dispensing tap and industrial grade waste disposers on both sinks. Our clients wanted a peninsula to sit at, a butchers block on wheels, a large range cooker, double bowl farmhouse sink and a instinct boiling water tap. Their wishes were our command!

Our customer used the Dijon Tumbled Limestone in a free-length pattern alongside their deVOL Kitchen. The neutral tones create such a calming atmosphere.

The kitchen comprised of wooden doors with a raised centre panel detail. The doors were made from Maple wood which has a tight grain that creates a smooth finish when painted. The appliance were a mix of Smeg, Elica, Leibherr and Perrin & Rowe taps. The granite was Angolan Black

This is an example of a large traditional u-shaped eat-in kitchen in Manchester with a drop-in sink, shaker cabinets, grey cabinets, granite benchtops, panelled appliances, porcelain floors, with island, white floor and white benchtop.

The original kitchen in this home came with vintage flour bins and a safe! the gorgeous but very old duchess that separated the dining room from the kitchen was removed, creating this new open plan space. In keeping with the traditional style, we chose a shaker style cupboards and handles, and white subway tiles. Open shelving and glass cabinets show off a display of collected antiques and ceramics, the pretty colours complimenting the white kitchen. The warm grey of the Caesarstone bench top gives this traditional style kitchen the modern edge. In Designers Guild fabric, the roman blind was installed a year after the dining curtains were hung and the Laura Ashley crystal pendants were the finishing touch to this kitchen.
