A former dye factory was converted into 9 residential lofts and dje’s offices. The textures of the street surface are reflected in the reworking of the building’s façade. Spacious raw, gallery like, lofts open to the street while penthouse type apartments penetrate through the old envelope above making a new roofscape. Art works line the common corridors where the former structural elements are lit like concrete forests living within narrow but dramatic entry spaces.
