Brief: To completely furnish and style a three-storey, four-bedroom home and large balcony with hired furniture and accessories, incorporating a few pieces of the client’s furniture. A key factor was reconfiguring the space to feature both formal and informal dining and living spaces. A casual dining table was included in the kitchen and the existing large dining table was replaced and moved to a smaller area to allow for a much larger main living area. The downstairs bedroom was converted to a casual living/TV space or teenager’s retreat. An unused junk room was converted to a bedroom with two single beds to show that the home could easily cater for at least a family of five.
