Table

Reply to: Hi yecats_h. As Weaver_Interiors has suggested, getting sheer curtains will immediately give the room a more cosy feel. I'd suggest moving the two-seater away from the window and putting two armchairs there instead with a table between them. I'd move the 3-seater 45 degrees to the left and getting rid of the 2-seater but that obviously depends on the functionality and use of the room. An armchair with a colour from the rug would also be good to break the monotony of the leather seats and entertainment unit. I'd put some paintings/prints on the wall that the armchair is currently against as that would attract people when they walk in. I'm guessing this is also the wall the that the piano will go against? If yes, obviously consider the look and colour of the piano. Lastly, I'd also suggest adding a few decorative items on the entry - so maybe a rectangular marble table with a vase or a decorative piece and maybe a mirror on the wall. This immediately makes the space welcoming and pretty. :) I think you can make the room work without getting new sofas. Just a matter of adding little pieces and elements to open up the room and make it more cosy. I'm happy to create some concepts for you - at no cost - if that would help you to visualise it better.
