The FLAT (Horizontal) is a low profile wall bed, with a cabinet depth of only 317mm. It comes in single, double and queen sizes with an optional folding table. It is also available in vertical option.

This former farmhouse kitchen was remodelled into a spacious utility and boot room when my clients converted the barn adjoining their farmhouse into a new kitchen dining space. The room has a feature inglenook fireplace which was formerly the cooker space. This was redesigned and re-purposed into a cloakroom space including shoe cubicles, welly storage, coat and hat hanging plus an integrated bench. A tall and deep cupboard with dog bed below were built into a former but no longer required doorway. The lovely worn original flagstone floor plus the painting over the timber cabinet were the starting point for colours and we chose a soft olive green for some of the walls and cabinetry to work with these.

Nestled within a contemporary urban estate, Bricked Elegance transforms a small garden into a sophisticated outdoor retreat. By seamlessly blending modern aesthetics with functional design, this space not only reflects the architectural character of the home but also addresses practical challenges such as uneven terrain and limited square footage. To create a level and cohesive main garden area, raised beds were designed to double as retaining structures, offering both functionality and visual appeal. Brick retaining walls and clay pavers echo the architectural charm of the estate, ensuring a unified and durable aesthetic throughout the space. A standout feature of the garden is a custom-built pergola with a glass roof and integrated electric heating, creating an inviting space for year-round outdoor dining and relaxation. Simplistic yet contemporary planting schemes, highlighted by grasses and evergreens, complement the clean lines of the hardscaping while introducing a sense of tranquillity and nature. An extensive lighting scheme adds a magical quality to the garden, illuminating its features and creating a mesmerising ambiance after dark. Additionally, a bespoke wooden bench, thoughtfully integrated into the raised planters, provides a cosy corner for quiet contemplation. Bricked Elegance is a testament to how innovative design can redefine small garden spaces, transforming them into stylish and functional sanctuaries that feel expansive and connected to their surroundings.

This suit, which is unquestionably of Oriental inspiration, is distinguished by the refined pieces of furniture, decorations and original trimmings of oriental origins. The Suite consists of three rooms: a sleeping area, a pleasure area and a welcome area. Trait d’union of these environments is represented by the revisited ‘circular portal’, often used in Chinese gardens. In the middle of the sleeping area there is a wood carved four poster bed. Over the entire vault of the ceiling there are 60 original Chinese red lanterns installed. The wallpaper tells scenes of the ancient oriental life. Such enhanced atmosphere and the alternating red and gold colors make this a mystical and sensory environment. The welcome area is characterized by the use of bright colors and it is furnished with armchairs and stylish coffee table. The third area is more private and consists of a mini pool and floor lamps with more austere and refined tones.

This rear bedroom has floor mounted white radiators, new timber sash windows with window shutters, as well as painted floor boards. The fireplace has been retained and a new decorative wallpaper added onto its side wall. Photography by Chris Snook
