Houzz Expands Scholarships Program to Three Categories
Students can apply for Women in Architecture, Architecture and Design and the NEW Residential Construction Management scholarships

Houzz, the leading platform for home renovation and design, has announced the call for entries for Houzz Scholarships, a program that supports the next generation of residential design and architecture pros: students studying architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture.

Houzz will award three $2,000 scholarships in the categories of ‘Women in Architecture’, ‘Architecture and Design’’ and ‘Residential Construction Management’. Houzz awards these scholarships annually at the beginning of the semester, and is now accepting applications for Semester one 2018.

Undergraduates and graduate students 17 years of age or older are invited to apply at houzz.com.au/scholarships. In addition to submitting a brief essay on their design and architecture influences, students are invited to create a Houzz professional student profile, where they can showcase their portfolio of work and network with more than a million professionals around the world. The deadline for the Semester one 2018 scholarships is 10 December, 2017.

“The caliber of applicants and their essays for the Houzz Scholarship program is extremely impressive,” said Tony Been, Country Manager at Houzz. “These design and architecture students have offered incredible perspectives on the future of how we will live in our built environments. We’re so pleased to help these students pursue their goals and dreams.”
