Chapman Built

We undertook a major renovation of our home and engaged Luke Chapman of Chapman Built to complete the work. Our renovations included a major reconstruction of our living areas, new kitchen, new lounge area and extensive renovation of master bedroom and ensuite. Luke worked extremely closely with our interior designer to bring our vision to realisation. Luke has assembled an excellent team of tradespeople who are reliable, clean and share his passion for a quality product. Luke’s attention to detail is second to none and we cannot fault the overall home that he has delivered for our family. Luke communicated with us throughout the renovation and kept us fully informed of progress and any issues that arose. We had some complicated flooring requirements and Luke worked calmly and patiently with the Melbourne-based supplier to ensure this could be delivered as part of the project. We could not recommend Luke and his team highly enough for anyone wanting a high-quality build.

This is the second time we have engaged Chapman Built for renovation works at our home. Both times Luke has undertaken the work in a highly professional manner. His attention to detail and planning is refreshing and reflects the outstanding final product. When we renovated our house, we engaged Luke Chapman of Chapman Built. We were very impressed with Luke's attention to detail and approachable manner from the start, as well as his professionalism and clear communication skills. It was a pleasure to work with Luke and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. He and his trades created a beautifully finished home that not only met our requirements but exceeded our expectations. The workmanship was exceptional, with the smallest details carefully considered and executed. Luke was always available to talk through ideas and queries using his extensive knowledge and experience to guide us. He always gave us plenty of time for decision making and completed our home within the projected time frame. If we were to renovate or build again, we most certainly would engage Luke.

We engaged Chapman Built to undertake a major extension and relocation of our kitchen. Luke worked with us to provide temporary walls and fencing which allowed us to remain in the house throughout the build with minimal disruption. Communication from Luke throughout the build was excellent and ensured we had no surprises. Luke stepped us through the building process and provided helpful suggestions to reduce costs and improve the design. The extension was handed over ahead of schedule and Luke's eye for detail ensured an excellent finish. We have no hesitations in recommending Chapman Built.

As the owner of Chapman Built Luke was very much on deck and in-tune every step of the way for our major renovation which included a small extension. His attention to detail is extraordinary and we are very happy with the finish. Nothing was too much trouble and our ideas and concerns were always listened to. Luke proposed some cost saving and design changes from the architects drawings which was much appreciated. Carpenters Adam and Dave were outstanding, very respectful and fun. They were excellent problem solvers and totally reliable. Ours was a 5 month build which finished on time. Even now our home is finished Luke has assisted us with a few minor issues. Our satisfaction with the work is obviously important to him. This was the first time we had done anything like this and we would recommend Luke and his team to anyone else contemplating either building a new home or doing a renovation.
