Creating Style

I was recommended Sally Walvin at Creating Style through a local business in my area. I found her great in helping to decide on some curtains within my home. She got a feel for the look I wanted over the phone and brought some samples with her on her first visit. The process was so easy and she stayed in touch and was on hand through every step. Would highly recommend to anyone struggling with making styling decisions within their home!

Sally is helping us add layers and texture to our beautiful new home in Brisbane. From our first meeting we have found Sally to be extremely approachable and easy to talk to. At the same time she is very professional - taking the time to source items specific to our brief, constantly providing updates on orders, and personally overseeing all installations. No question is annoying, nor any request too much to ask. And she listens! Really listens to what we want to achieve in our home while still having items that function around two young children. Whilst it is still an ongoing project we have so far added window coverings, cushions, artwork, rugs, bar stools, lamps and a statement butler's tray. All of the individual pieces speak for themselves yet co-ordinate beautifully with one another. We have loved adding piece by piece and have received so many compliments from our friends and family, particularly that they feel so relaxed in our home. And that was exactly what we wanted to achieve!

Working with Sally from Creating Style was like a dream come true! I had a very short amount of time to transform my lounge/dining room from a tired and dated looking space to a fresh and modern area of our home. Sally was fabulous in every way. We worked with Creating Style to assist us in furnishing a 330m2 apartment in Main Beach. We found Creating Style (Sally Walvin) to be very professional and went out of her way to work with us. My house was being renovated in 2011 and I knew we needed to organise window treatments 3 months before we moved in. I commissioned Sally of Creating Style with this brief with a budget of $10K: Curtains for 4 x floor to ceiling windows. Couch query - recover our current Jardan couch & armchair or buy new? Create a 5 star bedroom feel - valance + large cushions (I had already purchased a bedspread). Sally picked up on my style and made some suggestions immediately. She was quick to return with excellent choices, bringing in her contacts to measure and quote promptly. We went with recovering the couch and I had a great choice of fabrics to choose from all within budget. The curtains were installed, the couch nearly completed and my bedroom looked like the best place you could stay. I loved working with Sally and appreciate her work now in 2015
