About Us

Beautiful timber and composite Decks, Balconies, Carports & Patios, Verandas, Screening, Cladding and Ceiling Lining Castlegate Home Improvements has been in business since 1995. We do what we do because we enjoy helping people create a beautiful and practical outdoor living area at their homes. We work with our clients to take the stress out of building or renovating. We problem-solve and visualise the end result when we know how great a project will look before we've even started.

Professional Information

Castlegate Home Improvements are outdoor carpenters. We build decks, patios, carports, balconies, pergolas, verandas, bull nose verandas, install screening, fences, wall cladding and install ceiling lining. We can project manage an entire outdoor living job from the drawing of the plans for council permits to the construction including electrical work, painting and brick work to the final clean up. Paul Wilkinson and the small team are experience and qualified carpenters and Paul is an experienced roof plumber.

Brilliant team who did such a fantastic job on our entrance and our gazebo. We could not ask for a better job and you could not get better people to work with. The job was started shortly after accepting the quote and completed quickly. Would use them again.

They listened carefully to the vision we had, advised me of their ideas from their obvious experience, the result being a fabulous addition to our house. We were very lucky to find Emma and Paul for our balcony repair. The balustrading and supports had suffered significant damage from wood rot and required an extensive repair by replacing much of the wood. Their workmanship was first rate and Emma and Paul are first rate people. Very much appreciated by us.

The project entailed the removal of old deteriorated decking boards, repairing the damaged structural frame, and installing new decking boards.
