Hello Georgia, I like your analyses and suggestions very much! I have a problem in my new house: Seven cabinets in the kitchen area are “in the sky”! I am 5’4” tall and would have to use the tallest ladder to access these wonderful cabinets. I can’t find any other way of accessing them! I have collected china and special dishes throughout the years, and could not climb a ladder holding fragile china pieces. Do you know of a small kitchen “lift”? This is in a new, modern open room arrangement (kitchen, dining, living, & sunroom areas without walls). I love the open arrangement with tall ceilings and did not realize so many kitchen cabinets are not accessible. Looking forward to hearing a solution. Thank you very much, Georgia.

Always like your pieces. They are helpful and artistic. We may be cousins. I'm in Philadelphia, PA in the States and recall my cousin, Helen Armbrust (nee Madden) our family historian saving letters from a Madden I believe in Australia's Navy. Nice to see a Madden who pursued a decorating career, one I aspired to but chose social work instead.
