Comments (5)Paint the wooden furniture white, paint the metal bed frame a bright color, like the color of the throw on your bed. Hang the mirror across from the bed sideways on the wall instead on sitting it on the dresser. Get a blank canvas and use the paint you'll use on the bed frame and the wooden pieces to draw eccentrically circles, add a 2nd color, such as purple or fuchsia to the piece. You can add accessories from colors 1 & 2, and glass and silver accessories around. as for you "reading lamp" hang it lower on the bed turned up to add interest to your new art piece. Shift to reading from a lamp that is glass or silver on the small nightstand....See MoreArtwork/wall decor for my guest bedroom
Comments (38)Hi, Love the artwork. Because they're so small, how about putting them vertically, side by side on the wall where the bookcase is. I'd either take out the bookcase, or paint it white. If space is an issue in the room, you could maybe replace the bookcase with a small ottoman/ pouf in a textured plain fabric. This gives guests a place to lay their clothes at night or to set an overnight bag. You could consider a LARGE, maybe hectagonal grey framed mirror over the bed to echo the lines in the bedding. The bedding has a lot of pattern and a mirror may be all you need. Most of all, don't rush. Take your time and enjoy the process....See MoreBedroom art work -unisex
Comments (8)Hi Linda, you've chosen the right colours to create a lovely restful space for your bedroom: the blue/green spectrum is the most calming. > If the wall that you would look it when propped up in bed is available, that's the wall to place your new artwork on - where you can easily admire it. > Artwork is a very personal choice but, to maintain a gender neutral (!) and meditative theme, you might like to take a look at our aura collection. This colour variation of our 'lohtse' design would work very well for you, and is available as both a stunning, shadow-casting perspex artwork as shown, or as a canvas print which I think might suit your style better. We produce all our artworks to order in dimensions to suit the space. Our treescapes are another very popular option, particularly if the room doesn't enjoy an outlook that connects you to nature - which has become all the more important for many. This colour version of 'aberfeldy' would again be a great match. Hope that helps - feel free to DM us for more info. We design and produce all our artworks right here in Australia and would love to help if our artworks resonate with you....See MoreArtwork in master bedroom
Comments (9)The walls right now are very plain , but my cunning plan would be a longer landscape ( orientation and maybe design ) picture centred above the bed -- say 2 metres long and 800-1000mm tall , BUT also have 2 complementary pics the same height , but square ( so 800 x 800 or 1 metre x 1 metre ) and the same height from the floor -- one halfway between the larger pic and the 'left' wall ; the other pic on the other wall about where the photo you posted , finishes . I hope that makes sense -- basically 3 inter-related pics ....See More- 11 years ago
