I would paint the roof charcoal grey, the exterior walls a lighter grey. Trimmings in black, same with the slats beneath the verandah. It would blend into the environment and bring attention to the view of the mountains in the background. To add a pop of colour and bring focus to the front door in an inviting way, I would paint it red.

I’d suggest using pieces of plaster, painted in your chosen colours, to see what the colours look like in different rooms and at different times of the day. We were always going for Natural White which ended up having a pink tinge in certain light in our home. Our large back area is east facing (8m of glass stacking doors) with two south facing windows and two large skylights for northern light. Our colour consultant suggested Dulux Snowy Mountains Qtr strength and it is great for our home. Not stark (no blue/grey tinge) but definitely not too warm. We went all the same colour - walls, trims, ceilings - just in different finishes. Modern home with squareset ceilings. White is so hard. Good luck with your choice!

First, I would try painting the awning the same shade a the house colour to tone down its dominance. For me it is like a far too bushy eyebrow. Then see how the gutters’ colour sits in the landscape. Then start adding highlights, including front door and its screen surrounds, then planting. The need is for more contrast and interest. Maybe some big colourful pots on the right had side of patio. You have a magnificent tropical oasis. It has great possibilities to be styled as a contemporary tropical Asian house and garden where the house blends into the tropical garden.

I'd like to see the whole house , but as a guideline , you would try and make the entire place look like it is planned as a whole . As far as the windows , I'd be the opposite to everyone else -- why replace the brown aluminium windows ? I assume they still 'work' and seal when needed ? The old sash windows often get rotten , stick , don't seal properly , the weights and ropes fall off and you have to prop the windows open , and they generally aren't secure . So I'd be inclined to paint or put charcoal tape on the brown window frames , and put new charcoal framed aluminium windows in the weatherboard part of the house , in a similar style to the brown ones . That will make the whole house look more modern and consistent , plus black against white looks smart . Similarly , as others have said , do all the trim ( gutters , railings , etc in one colur ( presumably charcoal , but pink if you must haha ! ) -- right now it looks like two seperate houses that someone has got the hot glue gun , and bonded together -- black or brown gutters here , white over there , etc .
