Before & after bathroom
Our main bathroom has finally been renovated.
Quite happy with how it has turned out and the large shower is fabulous. I'm pleased with the beautiful large tiles and also that we decided not to tile all the way to the ceiling and paint the wall between.
I'm not so sure about the bath which was a bit of a splurge. It looks great but it's deep and the sides are very smooth. The vanity looks even better than I anticipated (thank you Philip at New Life Recycled Furniture) and the existing mirror was reframed with the same timber.
The bathroom functions well too especially since we updated the adjacent loo and put in a hand basin.

Comments (2)It totally depends on their end goal. If they don't have any foresight into selling the home and plan on being there for another 20 years then a second toilet might be the practical solution for them. As someone who is with real estate agents and sellers every day of the week it's far more beneficial on a ROI to have a bath if you're looking at putting the property on the market. 99% of the time when we're discussing which bathroom to shoot we opt for the one with the bath purely because of the bath.
