Would love to know everyone's opinion on what type of bar stool to go with for my island bench, plz?

There's a place called Replica Furniture in Newstead, Qld that sells a similar range. Is that too far away?

I would probably go clear plastic (ghost stools). I love your kitchen can you tell me what the splashback is, we want to do white kitchen, white floor tiles but was unsure about splashback.

Perhaps stainless steel and white, a bit like one from Sitting Pretty. Check the colour and the height though!

I had a white Lounge seat which was gifted 2 years prior by my parents as my wedding blessing. I adore that lounge since it is extremely agreeable, comfortable and delicate. I feel extremely casual on thinking about even my a half year old son get a kick out of the chance to mull over it as well. Yet, as it goes old, its springs might be received in return from the corners. So I m simply searching for an upholstery cleaner and I discovered ianscleanings Upholstery Cleaning Canberra . These guys came that day and open my Lounge and repair it. They completed a very pretty activity and fulfill me. Their charges are likewise exceptionally sensible. Good luck with your bar stool selection. I completely agree with your choice to buy from a shop rather than online. I've included a photo of 2 white stools I purchased (if they suit the look you're after). A word of warning - after seeing them in someone's kitchen photo from Houzz, I bought them online. Both stools arrived badly packaged with dents & scratches on the wooden backs & both had faulty gas cylinders so seats wouldn't go up. A refund was granted months later after PayPal investigated but I had to pay to return them (cheapest freight was twice what the stools cost). Now I will always buy from a shop!

Thanks siriuskey. I was worried that I would get something too off the rest of the style. I have an interior designer helping me but I have blown my budget already so used her advice for all the other furnishing and artwork. This website is amazing! Very nice white kitchen but you have a great opportunity to inject a little interest with colored stools, otherwise you risk too sterile a look. The material of the stools depends upon durability - do you have kids, dogs? How often will they be used?

hi jersey56, thanks for your comment, it is a very nice kitchen, the splash back is mosaic tiles, not sure where from tho, we have only just recently purchased this house, so they were already here when we moved in. They are like a mother of pearl, so they throw a lot of different colours depending on the light. I can take a closer photo of them if you would like me too?

thanks mgrechot, that's what I am thinking, hence why I am struggling to find the right ones. pity I can't try before I buy. I have looked at soooo many, lots of different styles too. I have some artwork on the opposite side of the kitchen which has lime green in it and I am thinking in the back of my mind, " I wonder what lime green tolix stools would look like" but I really want something with a back rest. We have two outside dogs and our youngest is 15 already, so no kiddies :)

Here's a link to a chrome and fabric bar stool with clean lines, a back and it comes in colors....I wonder if it's too angular tho, as your kitchen is very linear?

This one is still modern but much curvier, but only comes in white or black cushion...the wooden back would add warmth though...

Thank you jajlynn and yes! would you believe I have already screenshot the green stool and it was one on my shortlist, I am just too scared to purchase yet because I live in Nth Qld and worry what if I don't like them after I have already purchased them :(

thank you bigreader but I haven't posted a photo of them yet. They are not my ideal choice. I only went with these at the time because they were cheap from fantastic furniture. I originally wanted blue stools but the price was out of my budget considering I could get four grey/silver ones for the price of 1 blue one. I can post a photo of them in the morning

Hi Jools1246, yes our artwork is fantastic and all done by our very talented daughter, most of it was done as a scool project. We are very lucky and very proud we can show it off

Hi there - I've just come across this post and didn't realise the date of the post so obviously long sorted!! I'll still post the photo of the lovely NUB stool from Patricia Urquiola which is very pricey, but I love it and am always looking for alternatives. 3d model rendered onto your photo. It's a quick process and something I'm enjoying doing.
