Comments (32)I would prefer to see both ceilings matched with shiplap, to help tie the space, we all tend to look up. This would also mean that the wall between both rooms can be removed and therefore make the room appear bigger, as the height of the ceilings in each room will make them appear smaller if the wall isn't removed...See MoreCeilings, floors, and weatherboard questions
Comments (6)Thanks! We do really love the pressed metal and weatherboard. It would be a shame to cover them up. So it Would be okay to have the weatherboard suddenly change into a dry wall ceiling and then on the side have pressed metal? do we even need even a small border or something? I kind of like how the ceilings themselves denote the old rooms of the house. It’s a nice reminder. noted re floors.
