Have one made. They shouldn't be that much more expensive than an 'off the shelf' table. Custom made furniture is still quite inexpensive if you look hard enough. Expensive when compared to cheap and poorly made imports that we are all now so used too, but a quality table will last for decades and can become a family heirloom.

We had our recycled Oregon table custom made by a semi retired chap up the central coast. Avoca Beach I recall and under $1500 4 years ago. Built to our sizes and our stain colour. Don't recall contact details though sorry!

Sorry, it wasnt in Sydney. But I'm sure you could find custom cabinetmakers in Sydney if I could find them in a regional town of 10,000 total pop. We just tend not to think of custom built furniture, but go to any industrial area and there are workshops doing exactly that.
