A paint job, maybe replace security screens with the "invisible" security ones, down here the main brand is crimsafe. Paint the eaves first, is there a leak to cause mould, or just the climate. Suggest you use mould inhibitor additive in the paint there. Is it my screen or are there repairs needed on the bricks in three places? It might be your camera. If not, get a bricky to look at it.

you could clad the downstairs poles to make them look more substantial. Add large pots of shade loving tropical plants there in front.

the driveway could use some work, looks a bit muddled in the surfaces. Go for something more uniform.

Hi Thanks for all of that, the house was a mortgage repossession, the residents where unhappy with the bank taking over, trashed everything inside, all doors etc smashed broken, including cupboards. There was a double carport at the front but they come and removed before the auction, - unbelievable I know. The yard was full of old rusty cars and junk, you couldnt see any grass.

You have great eyes, the eaves are all mouldy and need cleaning will get them pressured cleaned at some stage, the bricks are not damaged but have discolouration in some spots as they had things hanging on them I think but will get a bricky to check them out. Clading the poles are a great idea, and security screens. When I can afford it would love to get the driveway cemented properly but will change the broken pavers and make it look a little better now.

What colour paint do you think, and what about anything over the door way?

No, I've got terrible eyesight and a small screen, if I can see the mould anyone can, so painting the eaves is necessary.

Thanks, it is a pity but if it wasn't in such bad condition I wouldn't have been able to get it, need some ideas for the bath and kitchen, but will leave that to later. Thanks again.

You can post separate dilemmas for each room.

The mould under the eaves could be that the corner of the gutter is not sloping towards the downpipe. Better to solve the cause before painting. Had the same and was easily adjusted by a roofer. I agree with Tribble.... on the remainder. ie. keep the bricks unrendered.

With out knowing the layout of your home its a little difficult to say, but the top large window section would look great with either roof to floor windows or if $ is ok put on a balcony with bifold doors. Render the brick work and fix the concrete in the front. Garden can make a big difference to the front with out a huge expense

Don't do cladding or color changes to home. They all look fine and cladding will ruin the place.

Are they concrete blocks in the driveway? These could be removed and replaced with a garden - needs height to complement the height of the home. Tall trees with exotic underplantings.
