Hi again Sophia, Your Photo 1, looks good. When considering design options I always consider the "regular use preference". That is, you have an efficient design (toilet location) which you will use all the time. The odd occasion where the toilet flush is heard (OMG) by the occupant of bed 2 would be perhaps 2% of the time? I know it not perfect, but renovations never are. Therefore, if the toilet in that location is efficient for your m.bed, i would go with that over making it inefficient just for the bed 2 occupant to not hear the toilet flush 2% of the time. i hope that makes sense? With the moisture in the WIR, there are options. you could put in an extra ceiling exhaust fan, or ceiling vents in the WIR, or even a small highlight window in the WIR (perhaps a permanent vent or lourves) - i believe there is a solution there for sure. moving the wall 200mm, will just come down to your preference and requirements for clothes. your choice. I'am thinking that I might have this around the wrong way but it can be reversed. My thoughts for your holiday accommodation in beautiful popular Marysville, You will have accommodation for, two couples. ?singles and two families with two plus kids. If I'am going away as two couples or families would want the QB rooms to offer the same fit out, ie: both with ensuite, which I would do as wet rooms, I don't want to flip a coin seeing that I'am paying 50%! The kids Bunk room could sleep 8 or 7 with a cupboard under one of the bunks, the kids will have a ball sharing, windows would be long narrow ones. The living dining kitchen has heaps of seating/ or naps with using built in seating along two walls The verandah, needed sit down to remove skis which can double as storage, these would reflect the indoor window seats, Banquette seating

If you need to achieve a home generally along these lines, seriously, don't bother trying to customise some form of layout with a drafty or any form of designer. Practically you have little choice but to try and find something suitable with an off the shelf plans, (or version of) available with one of the volume building companies, some of which can be quite helpful with working through this process, but you have to accept a certain "formula". It's the only way to achieve something of this scale for that type of money. For what it's worth, generally you'll find most draftspeople have no idea about designing to budget - it's not what they do. They are a technical drawing service, nothing more nothing less and unfortunately over the years we've been doing what we do, we've had countless of examples of projects come into the office that have resulted from people trying to get a draftsperson to design something to budget thinking it's a cheaper road, only to be bitterly disappointed once the builder has come in and delivered the bad news, and then they're back to square one & we have to pick up the pieces somehow. This is why it's so important to have a robust discussion about budget limits as the first part of any conversation around a building project, to minimise wasting time and money going down path that will prove to be somewhere down the line unrealistic.
