@wuff -- I bought mine a few months ago while on a trip to the USA. It wasn't on holiday and had limited shopping time, which left me with empty luggage space to fill :-). I visited a discount/surplus items store and got them cheap! I'd been looking for months for some, but nothing I saw here came close to the heavy-quality metal of the ones I bought. They're made by a company called Seville Classics. None of them – too busy, too contrived and really the 'art' feels dismissed and unimportant (and I suspect that that is probably the case – if it were important to you because of beauty or sentiment or genuine interest it wouldn't be relegated to an over-busy wall just to complete some grid or slightly random pattern). I have a lot of paintings, drawings, etchings and photographs around my house but each one is there because it has meaning and adds to my life and aesthetic pleasure. When they have to share a wall I spend time ensuring that each is still able to be seen, appreciated and respected in its own right.

Depending on your lifestyle, both the draws and mirror cabinets I find are most practical use of storage for the bathroom, plus the best way to keep the bathroom looking clean and clutter free. We do find that when we are decluttering and organising bathrooms, the draws can become messy really quickly, unless you have used good quality insets or draw dividers. The mirror cabinet can usually be the best, as everything is at eye level and standing up for quick access, however again you need to make sure that you have some decent quality cabinets, with a little depth so you can introduce some secondary storage solutions for the those items that cannot stand up. All in all, its best to really asses the situation with your lifestyle habits etc. There is no one right answer to this, its all based around the individual. :)

I so agree with bigreader. As much as I love drooling over the immaculate perfect projects where enormous dollars must have been spent, including every last thing chosen by an interior decorator, to me the most inspiring and enjoyable part of houzz is seeing 'average ordinary' people making great improvements within their budgets.
