Depends what your design skills are like. I carefully trawled through dozens of curtain photos on Houzz, selecting the ones I liked. When I showed them to the curtain maker, she carefully explained how that not only did they not suit the rooms or my house (I have old-fashioned tastes in a modern house, was her way of putting it!) but in some cases they wouldn't even fit the windows. My advice is thus to get some advice from an expert first - you can always ignore it later, but it may save you some time. I'm now very happy with all the curtains suggested by the curtain lady - and I still have my dream curtains (pooled silk with swags, romans with fake swags . . .) in my Houzz album . . .

If you are on a tight budget look at Op shops for a large white pot to put your plant in. And a large mirror, sometimes you find an object or mirror or art work in this shops but colours are ghastly, you just have to imagine it in different colour and you have that perfect piece that is missing , repainting is easy and cheap and if you are not sure how , just ask Us Houzzers . Keep in mind that one large pice on the wall is better then several small ones. You will need a better coffee table maybe a glass one, IKEA has some cheap solutions , you might be able to find a larger rug and softer, although the round one looks good. If you are on Face book join local group "Buy,swap,sell " you can get great thinks for very little money and sometimes it's free. Don't rush. And if you buy something that you find was a mistake you can sell it on the same site. Have fun.

yes. stallion looks like it is in a sample hanger with all or most of the various colours available. your other photo with the 6 or so swatches looks like all warwick samples. The Bleecker pleat does look interesting. I haven't seen it in Australia. Just remember any 'different' headings will substantially increase your making cost. Making cost is usually not unreasonable in Australia in my opinion as we have regulated wages etc. so making will change depending on how much labour will be involved. the most 'flexible' cost with curtains is your fabric as fabric cost can have a very wide range as you have no doubt discovered. but the making cost is the same whether the fabric cost $25 per metre or $250. the labour is the same.
