I am sorry if I was too brief. The colorbond pallet is so small compared to colours available form Dulux, Porters etc. all of which can be spray painted,rolled or painted by hand, etc. I just find it limiting, notwithstanding the excellent examples you have posted. All the best, Michael.

Thanks for your advise. Tried all three and ended up choosing Paperbark for the walls. Now just stuck between Woodland grey or Ironstone for the guttering????

I just googled & found this site, which quotes cost of R2.5 75mm. there are other suppliers as well. What was quoted to you for cost of roof installation, and was it itemised so you can see exactly what thickness the foil-backed insulation builder will use? I'm guessing the thinner (lower R factor). So, the new quote should reflect a credit for the cost of previous insulation, since it won't be used, then cost of thicker insulation added. Does that make sense? I would be more worried about the roof design before I started looking at colours. It looks like it has numerous, troublesome box gutters, where two roofs run down to feed a single gutter in the middle. These then need a rain head and downpipe which are not very attractive. There is too much happening in your elevation, it needs to be cleaned up and simplified, probably with a simpler roof form. Think about how gutters, rain heads and downpipes will affect the front elevation. Save the random patchwork effect for when you are building a box-like warehouse in an industrial area where the varied colours are needed to break up the visual mass.
