I had a white Lounge seat which was gifted 2 years prior by my parents as my wedding blessing. I adore that lounge since it is extremely agreeable, comfortable and delicate. I feel extremely casual on thinking about even my a half year old son get a kick out of the chance to mull over it as well. Love all the wonderful comments above. The only thing I would add is: really consider what you want to use this room for... What do you want the room to do? Welcoming guests? If it is welcoming, then think about what makes you feel welcomed when you walk in - that ahhhh feeling.....maybe plants (a bonsai project would work well in that light), some family photos instead of a mirror, coat hanger behind door, buffet table (where you stand your G&T chrystal set on a nice sliver tray). Or is it a Staging ground for getting out the door? Then perhaps the mirror, some sort of rack for bags & hats etc, a bench for sitting and putting on shoes, cork board for reminders etc (it is possible to have these all behind a thin closet so closed doors hide any clutter). Whatever you choose, I just find it helpful to keep the rooms purpose in mind.

Subway tiles are soooo overdone & really date a house now ( not to mention that they remind many people of, well, subways & public toilets strangely enough ). Glass maybe too contemporary but it's so low maintenance & never boring, the colour & pattern choices are endless. Stone is timeless & easy care. It's personal choice really. Trust your instincts, it looks like you've done a great job so far. Would love to see the end result posted here too. Good luck !

Dreamer I don’t have dining chairs just yet. Just a black dining table so far. I’m pretty sold on the black rattan stools so I think i’ll go with those. Thanks for the help everyone! 🙂
