Need help with bedside lamps and space above headboard.
Comments (2)I would replace single picture with 2 to 3 pictures that are vertical possibly over the headboard. Depending on the size, display them across your headboard so that they span further than the current picture, say across the headboard but inside the shelves. In addition you might want to consider some sort of lighting that you can attach to the headboard that you can direct down rather than thinking of table lamps. I think the shelving can work, but for me would be collectors of things and never looked very nice. If you're different than me maybe you could start with something low on that top shelf with just some small things on the other ones. Good luck...See MoreFinishing off the mirror bedroom — Side Tables & Lamps?
Comments (23)A guest bedroom should be inviting and relaxing but walking into a room with dbl. lge mirrors and seeing yourself twice on every occasion is not my idea of inviting. The chest is nice, how does that tone with the bedset? Could that be put on the wall opposite the curtains, add new crystal knobs and put a tiny chair offside with it and a small picture above with timber frame. How about a quilted beadhead in med. weight fabric to match the colour in the quilt (not navy) and do you need tables each side of bed? Don't know room size. Don't change things except for some plain cushions, some to match a small lamp. And please, no silver paint! :-( a quilted bedhead in...See Morecordless table lamp, LED or battery.
Comments (4)I'm in NZ , and just googled . Kogan have one that looks like the old Tilley light that is $NZ40 here ( but LED bulb and battery powered ) , and Lighting Direct have a really trendy one called Viola which is on special for $NZ50 -- it has a USB charging port in the base , but the cool thing with it is that you get 4 hours at 100% light , but you can dim it it 50% ( 8 hours ) or 25% ( 16 hours ) . I assume similar are available in Aus ( Kogan is Australian owned as you may know , their lamp is more outdoorsy than loungeroom ) , or maybe they will post . There are , of course , lots of car troubleshooting type lights available too -- some can be angled to suit your needs , some are like snakes but more 'map reading' than lighting a room ....See MoreHelp please with sourcing a table lamp!
Comments (7)What is it that you like about the pics you’ve posted? Is it the metals, the round glass, the smoked glass? I’m not sure where you’ve tried or your budget. Some suppliers you may not have thought of: about space fat shack vintage (pic below), and my fav House of Isabella (some wheat amongst the chaff-you’ll have to look) Replica Lights Even good old Temple and Webster may have something that echoes your pics....See More- 8 years ago
