Hi, gloria wood I find that Dulux Natural White can look too stark. Pictured, we have used: White exchange half (which has more of a grey/beige undertone) Lexicon half (for the skirting, doors and trims).

I just googled & found this site, which quotes cost of R2.5 75mm. there are other suppliers as well. What was quoted to you for cost of roof installation, and was it itemised so you can see exactly what thickness the foil-backed insulation builder will use? I'm guessing the thinner (lower R factor). So, the new quote should reflect a credit for the cost of previous insulation, since it won't be used, then cost of thicker insulation added. Does that make sense? Really hard to tell. I like the lightest one but I'm not very adventurous. You may need to choose one and paint a larger area and see what you think.

Hi, I don’t know if this helps but in out Reno we did last year we chose lexicon quarter for our walls. I don’t regret it as it suits what we did style wise, and it is a ground floor apartment so needs the extra brightness for reflection - it was previously painted hogbristle and looked really dingy and dark. I agree with the above comment that lexicon is stark. For our new house I’ve gone with Surfmist outside and a warm light grey inside - so two warm tones, but that’s because I wanted a more cozy feel as opposed to a fresh and bright feel. I don’t think it matters on outside vs inside though, I think it really depends on your furnishings and fixtures/floors etc. For example I personally wouldn’t paint my house lexicon if all of my furniture was rich wood and warm tones.
