also for safety having a back door is essential in case of fire etc. Make sure the door is an exterior grade one to keep "night visitors" out. I've seen laundries housed in cabinets...the firsts suggestion sounds nice but i haven't seen your floor plan layout. is that double laundry sink your bathroom vanity as well? maybe get the washer hardware happening inside (and preferably an under bench model for more bench space and an integrated look), and choose a farmhouse design sink. choose all white and grey tones. best of luck.

if the downstairs ceiling will be 3m then the stairs will not fit across the 4m and it would be better to have the stairs run along the length of the building to allow enough space for enough steps plus the 1m entry and exit top and bottom but the bed could still be positioned against the short wall...but i'm wondering if all of your new shed is over 6m tall or just the space over the living area...our shed house has living quarters at single level attached to a big shed with a loft

An Update on my option 1 plan with the laundry behind bifold doors stacked washer/dryer with separate sink. The dryer would need to be ducted, This laundry can be used as per normal laundry days with doors open to sort used linen and once machine is started close doors off, this works along the lines of a Euro laundry. Access to outside clothes line can be via the pantry dish washing space or via the kitchen dining doors to the clothes line. When bringing dry clothing into the house once again via the dining doors which can give the opportunity to sort things on the dining table. There's a sliding door between the laundry and the dishwashing area, both have a dedicated sink. You need to sit down with an architect and go through all of your wants. They can look at all the competing aspects including views overshadowing. And your specific details. We are probably only making this harder with limited information. It will be money well spent on what is probably the biggest purchase you ever make
