Just Beautiful! We are about to undergo a renovation, including kitchen and I think I have the exact same pine kitchen as you and orange hoop pine floor boards. I was wanting to stain the floor boards too but was unsure. Your kitchen style is very similar to what I had in mind (white shaker cabinets, butler sink, subway tile splash back and I even currently have the same fridge as you) and I'm excited because now I can show my husband the transformation including the stained floor. Are you able to give any details e.g. colour of stain for floor/ floor treatment, where you bought your sink, and island bench dimensions please. Many thanks!!

unless you have 6 people for dinner every day i suggest swop the dining table for smaller extendable table with stowaway folding chairs for extra guests and try moving the desk into the lounge to create enough space in the dining area for small twin lounge chairs with full height shallow storage beside fireplace and consider removing the wall in the lounge and retaining the wall between kitchen and dining d the wall between bathroom and kitchen could have full height in wall pantry storage (many cans, bottles, packets, glasses etc will fit inside a 10-30cm deep cabinet with larger in wall cabinets above the stove or in the dining roomthe easiest cheapest way to brighten the dining room would be to install Solar Skylights (check out illume or Arcol brands available at Bunnings)

the dimensions are inconsistent which may be related to previous renovations but need to be properly checked before finalising any plans and i agree with others that it would be better to retain the entry hall for a WIW when there are already multiple living areas but, attempting to focus on the central area, my initial suggestion would be to sacrifice the existing study (relocate to original family room?) and create a separate entry mudroom and dining room with direct access to the outside but we need more details about the bumpout in the kitchen and existing meals area as, once the major internal wall is removed, there is limited wall space for cabinets and appliances but something like this might work
