Keys are on hooks by the front door, whack 'em on as I walk in, chuck down the sunnies or hat on the hall table, shoes under it, and then straight in the house. I have never lost any of those items and I always need them. Unlike my male friend who shares the house with me, the constant, "Do you know where my car keys are? or My glasses? or My wallet?" drives me nuts! Soooooo much time wasted searching for things.GAAAAH! To those who say you shouldn't leave keys at the front well, any burglar that gets in isn't likely to be using the keys to get out. I don't have deadlocks. If I did I would still keep them by the front door, in case of a fire. Easy to get out then.

I found that a few basic towel rails mounted on the back of my wardrobe door works for me :D heels can hang on the rails, or i slot the toe of the shoes in behind the rail. If you've got a spare wall, mounting them on a wall would be even better.... and ballet flats in labelled boxes: 'Dark Coloured Flats' (navy, black) and 'Coloured Flats' (all the other colours ;) ) .....if you need inspo, just search 'shoe storage' on Pinterest. Hi there, having recently been through a similar decision process for our Reno I can really recommend ordering the Dulux A4 samples. They are made with the real paint on them so you can move them around from room to room to see exactly what it will look like without having a heap of swatches painted on the wall. They have a sticker backing but I used blu-tac so 8 could move them over and over. Good luck

There is a product called Nanokote that you apply to the shower screen so the water just beads off when wet. Now I did try this product years ago and didn't find it that great but it could of improved by now. But my husband uses car wax on the windscreen of my car and polishes it off so water just slides of it when it rains so I am thinking of him doing this when we move into our new home shortly and see how that goes. As for tiles everyone raves about those steam machines but in the product reviews I haven't found a model that hasn't broke down after a short use.
