Comments (22)so relieved you don't want to spoil a great looking brick home with more render but is there a view from upstairs? when funds allow extending the deck/verandah across the front of the garage would add extra upstairs outdoor space and modify the look of the garage doors and consider painting garage doors and rendered wall in the darkest cement colour (greenish) grey with white eaves and fascias with black gutters and simply pressure wash the driveway to retain the natural concrete colour and add climbing plants to fall down the side of the retaining wall...See MoreCan a colorbond roof ever look good on a clinker brick home?
Comments (13)Sure do! We're really happy with how it's turned out, there have been a couple of biblical storms lately that have seen our neighbours get major leaks, whereas our roof has been watertight. Comments (7)depending on your existing roof insulation a light coloured roof would be better to avoid overheating eg Colorbond Paperbark? with brick colour for guttering and downpipes, white for fascias and eaves and cladding and roller doors same as the roof...See MoreExterior help for contemporary brown brick home
Comments (12)I assume you live there ? Walk outside and stand on the street haha . The house to the left seems to have similar bricks to yours , and looks to have off-white fascia , and it looks about right from the small bite we can see . The house to the right seems to be white walls , and black fascia and roof , again looks about right . With dark fences and walls etc , and extending that slightly with charcoal gutters , I don't think you want it all dark -- at present I think its too light coloured , so just go a step at a time -- the fence and the gutter would be step one , then you'll see if the fascia doesn't look right , or whether the column is too white or the garden is too closed in -- basically , move slowly and look before each step ....See More- 5 years ago
