We’re in SW Florida a mile from the gulf. we’re debating between PGT sold by a local company thats been here for decades or go with the not so local company, Latitude Windows that sells ES windows and Vistaview sliders. Its 1900 sq ft house so not big. The es window quote was under $64,000 and the PGT quote was $85,000! Both include Double fiberglass high impact front door. we'd rather buy local but for $20,000+ more??

ES for that price difference as long as comparing apples to apples.

Is everything else exactly the same? Can be some decent variance that can drive price.

I would generally prefer PGT over ES for a few different reasons, but not with a $21,000 difference. Have you looked at any other options to maybe see which of those quotes makes more sense?

Im comparing apples to apples as close as i can. We did visit with 2 homeowners who had glowing reviews of the less expensive company. Going to save $21000 and sleep well tonight. Thanks for your input.
