The existing kitchen had ceiling mounted spotlights and the client was keen for the new kitchen to be well lit. We used LED striplights which were discreet but ceiling mounted across some of the beams and under the cabinets to create a good wash of light over the whole space.

From the previous dark and outdated to open and modern transitional, this kitchen now perfectly embodies the homeowner's style and needs. We kept the design neutral and simple, using a mix of timeless materials and contemporary accents. We used Farrow & Ball's Treron on the cabinets and School House White on all the walls, to create a fresh but still inviting colour for this basement kitchen.

We love this inset handle Shaker kitchen in Essex. It has plenty of worktop and prep space and a large amount of storage. The range, fridge freezer and sink are at a close proximity to each other, and there is even more storage on the opposite side of the room (not seen here). The cabinets are painted in Ho Ho Green by Little Greene, the handles are our bespoke inset handle in burnished brass and the worktops are 30mm, polished SG Carrara quartz. The client opted for Amtico flooring which looks beautiful with the white painted walls and green cupboards.

Traditional styling with a modern colour scheme. The Sage Green shade and white solid surface worktops help to make the kitchen feel light, open and spacious as well as functional. Deep drawers and considered use of the corner storage space mean that everything is there when you need it. As bespoke manufacturers we could adapt units around the existing room features easily.
