A Victorian terraced house in Queens Park NW6 is the backdrop of this classic Oak bespoke fitted kitchen with a stained and lacquered exterior, the finish highlights the wonderful characteristics of the grain in the wood, whilst period elements, glass cabinets and handles offer a classical luxury feel.

Beautiful touches of artistry have been applied to each interior pocket – from moody greens set against emerald tiling to happy collisions of primary colours.

A kitchen finished in 2013 for a local client in Winkfield. Photographed in August 2017.
The design includes bespoke Davonport furniture, a combination of Miele and Siemens appliances and Kashmir white granite.
The original kitchen included a back door and window combination that restricted light and flow of the space. Working closely with the client throughout the design process, new bi-folding doors were incorporated, to give the indoor/outdoor space they desired and enable them to make the most of the afternoon and evening sun.
Features such as the Butler's Pantry and open-ended island were added to provide extra character and charm to the design.

This elegant, classic painted kitchen was designed and made by Tim Wood to act as the hub of this busy family house in Kensington, London.
The kitchen has many elements adding to its traditional charm, such as Shaker-style peg rails, an integrated larder unit, wall inset spice racks and a limestone floor. A richly toned iroko worktop adds warmth to the scheme, whilst honed Nero Impala granite upstands feature decorative edging and cabinet doors take on a classic style painted in Farrow & Ball's pale powder green. A decorative plasterer was even hired to install cornicing above the wall units to give the cabinetry an original feel.
But despite its homely qualities, the kitchen is packed with top-spec appliances behind the cabinetry doors. There are two large fridge freezers featuring icemakers and motorised shelves that move up and down for improved access, in addition to a wine fridge with individually controlled zones for red and white wines. These are teamed with two super-quiet dishwashers that boast 30-minute quick washes, a 1000W microwave with grill, and a steam oven with various moisture settings.
The steam oven provides a restaurant quality of food, as you can adjust moisture and temperature levels to achieve magnificent flavours whilst retaining most of the nutrients, including minerals and vitamins.
The La Cornue oven, which is hand-made in Paris, is in brushed nickel, stainless steel and shiny black. It is one of the most amazing ovens you can buy and is used by many top Michelin rated chefs. It has domed cavity ovens for better baking results and makes a really impressive focal point too.
Completing the line-up of modern technologies are a bespoke remote controlled extractor designed by Tim Wood with an external motor to minimise noise, a boiling and chilled water dispensing tap and industrial grade waste disposers on both sinks.

Design ideas for a large traditional galley eat-in kitchen in Perth with an undermount sink, recessed-panel cabinets, beige cabinets, granite benchtops, white splashback, ceramic splashback, stainless steel appliances, dark hardwood floors and with island.

This traditionally styled kitchen is crisp and fresh, with plenty of bench space and storage. The shaker cupboards and antique pull handles work so well with the dark stone countertops and the stunning porcelain butler sink. There is a cute butler's pantry off in the distance too.

A classic farmhouse kitchen with warm tumbled stone flooring. An AGA range cooker with exposed flu add to the rustic function over form styling. Our customer was keen to not have any wall units to increase light and maintain a sense of space. As a result, clever storage solutions were required such as a worktop standing bi-fold dresser, a larder in the original fireplace/hearth aperture, a free standing dresser with full stave lacquered oak worktop and a free standing american fridge freezer framed either side with larder towers.

The fundamental theme of the house throughout is black and white with a mix of old and new; a classic look which is complimentary to the villa period.
This colonial-inspired kitchen gets its sparkle from the star patterned splash-back. Black-framed cabinetry with a silver rub and turned legs to the kitchen island enhance the look.
