Custom Coastal Luxe Home Build - Concord

FINALIST | MBA Excellence in Housing Awards 2021

A new bespoke family home with an Australian coastal luxe feel, this home is a fresh take on the classic Hamptons aesthetic. Architecturally designed, it features a modern, light filled, open plan interior with indoor spaces that flow seamlessly into outside living zones.

Maximising every inch of space and using it to create an open, airy feel with lots of light was of utmost importance and achieved by orientating the circulation and living spaces to the North. The key to the success of providing ample natural light was the integration of several void areas. Including such design elements allows for double height spaces, increasing the sense of spaciousness and volume to surrounding rooms.

This contemporary home is fully automated whereby lights, TV, garage door, air conditioning, entertaining and pool are all fully controlled by phone or tablet device. Other innovative features include external drop down louvre Venetian blinds and a Vergola with adjustable and rotating louvres.

Our Brief: To create a bespoke, family home which embraces the classic features of the Hampton’s style while meeting the requirements of our clients’ contemporary taste and environment. The design should prioritise natural light and the interior layout should seamlessly flow into outdoor living and entertaining spaces.

Exterior Features: Scyon weatherboards with excellent thermal properties | HardieGroove™ V Joint panelling | Outdoor pool with integrated home network system | Sandstone which adds depth and solidity to the front facade | Raked ceiling and projected roof gable | Outdoor BBQ with custom designed cabinetry

Interior Features: Large, full height double glazed windows and expansive UPVC sliding doors that almost evaporate barriers between indoor and outdoor living | Two storey void sets the tone of grandeur and spaciousness | Engineered Oak floors feature a traditional Parquetry Herringbone pattern | Spacious butler’s pantry | Laundry chute | Vaulted rake ceiling in master bedroom and ensuite | CSR’s Hebel Power Flooring used for its thermal properties and superior acoustic performance between floor levels
