Forrest Bathroom and Powder Room

The bathroom of this double brick home in Forrest was in desperate need of a make over! As this was going to be their "forever home" the client needed the bathroom to be practical, beautiful, and spacious. The design that evolved after consulting with the client meant a huge change to the existing floor plan. By removing two adjacent cupboards we were able to create a powder room and a bigger bathroom.

Following asbestos removal, demolition, relocating drains and water inlets, our professional friend, Trevor Liakos of Urbis Constructions, took excellent care of the load-bearing aspect of the renovations, dealing with inspections and certifications, building new brick walls and placing lintels.

We also matched the ravine board of the client's selected vanity to make a linen cabinet that would line up with the bottom of the vanity as well as the top of the mirror. Our client's choice of tiles and fittings worked together perfectly with the wood-grain look of the cabinetry to help make the renovation look amazing!

To maximise the feeling of space, we installed modern barn doors with exposed rails. This made an incredible difference to the flow of traffic through the entrance as well as bringing a unique final touch to this stunning project.
