This self-contained highly functional studio/ guest accommodation was constructed by the adaptation and reuse of an existing unused greenhouse structure.
Passively heated and cooled design with large glazing windows and openings located on East and North orientations, also maximising views across the garden and landscape. Oriented to provide privacy from the existing residence.
Use of reclaimed and recycled products - Tasmanian Oak floorboards from a school house in Tasmania and Blackbutt timber for windows and doors. High performance wall and roof insulation.
