I redesigned the kitchen for a lovely client in her St Kilda East home. The real challenge was the existing layout. It was a long thoroughfare sitting in between a living and dining space, which was clunky and disjointed, making the space feel small. I was able to focus all of the work space onto one side of the kitchen. On the opposing side I put floor to ceiling cabinetry for storage. This dramatically improved the sense of space, making the kitchen lighter and able to catch a lot more of the sunlight.
