Stansell Street Kew
This original 1904 Edwardian timber workers cottage in the leafy suburb of Kew, required both restoration and simple well considered cottage addition to the rear.
The original lean-to containing the kitchen and bathroom was removed.
Internally, two bedrooms and the hall at the front of the house were kept.
A living room becomes a main bath and separate powder room with a small laundry/pantry accessed via the new kitchen/dining/living area.
A private low key and budget conscious addition leads to a new private timber pergola and decked area
Completed December 2015
