Reply to: Yes, such a great space and ideal location!! I would not mix the interior window color in a room (or house). I personally love a dark window, even against white trim. The dark frames will bring dimension to the space and soften the transition from interior to exterior views. Hope this inspiration helps!

Reply to: I wonder whether a courtyard style garden would suit the site? Of course if you have children then you will probably need some grass. You need a patio in the sunny area and make sure you leave borders all around for planting. On the sunny fence I think planting Roses, Clematis and Star Jasmine will green it up nicely. You can underplant with sun loving Lavender, Cistus and hardy Geraniums. You could also plant shade loving climbers up the garage side walls, my favourite is climbing Hydrangea. I can see a few slabs outside the house so you could extend that patio out as on very hot days it’s nice to have a bit of shade.
