SYH: 800 Bathrooms
SG: Sounds like a good plan to me. SY: For bathrooms, I was thinking of Rohl Graceline in the ensuite, and Kohler Purist in the baths in the original wing. We may mix in some Kohler Purist in the ensuite too (their shower head has better pressure, for example). This is the Rohl Graceline wall mount faucet - shown here in French Brass. I'm not sure on finishes yet - waiting on the Rohl chips to arrive - but want a brassy faucet and shower fixtures, with black tub filler and towel bars in ensuite.
SG: Agreed! This could be the right way to go/ SY: bringing this back here for ensuite reference. We have windows like this! With vanity and shower in similar locations. SG: Very beautiful. Maybe too CA for IN? But I like it. SY: Just dropping this here for architectural inspiration for laying out new ensuite wing.
SG: Same comment about towel bar. SYH: sink and period rug... which we could also do in tile
SG: We had these tiles in our old apt on the floor and walls of master shower. In addition to being hard to clean they can pop out. I like the look but my experience has not been positive! SYH:these tiny blue tiles are ever so period... but super annoying to clean all the grout
SG: I like the tile work one row down better. And although you didn't ask, I don't like the cooper sinks SYH: tile rug! with wood and white
SG: Vanity is good. Floor is ok, like the one below better. SYH: great floor, white walls, wood vanity
SYH:color, wood, and white
SG; Yes, colorful floor are great with white and wood. SYH: colorful floor with white walls and wood... (but not blue)
SG: Love this floor. Love the pattern and the color. SYH:another version of colorful floor / white walls
SG: Works. But i think given how narrow that space is, a colorful floor with a quieter pattern is in order SYH: this idea for west bath (not this exact tile)
SG: Great color SYH:
SG: Nice SYH: simple wall tile for the two original-wing baths
SG: For the same original wing bathroom? Yes, good palette SYH: possible color scheme
SG: This is very nice and I love the colors SYH: tile
SG: Don't love it. SYH: tile
SG: Like the pattern. Not wild about the color would want to pull it more to grey green than yellow green tones SYH: heath...
SG: Very nice too. SYH: floor in one of the original wing bathrooms
SG: I don't like the pattern as much as some of the other SYH: one of the original wing bathrooms? Maybe pink on the floor though...
SY: heath tile
SG: Wood tile? That's a new one for me. I am not sure I like this one much but would need to see how the rest of the space looked. SYH: mud / laundry room floor?? this is Mirth wood tile...
SG: I am stuck on the orange floor a couple of rows up. SYH: maybe one of the original wing bathroom floors, with the other one in same pattern / different colorway (pinks and oranges)
SYH:A great colorful floor tile for each of the original wing baths...
SG: For kitchen? I like this pattern but maybe a different tone/color? SYH:Zia tile.
SG: Like this. Would like the brass to be matte not shiny SYH: vanity situation for hall bath perhaps: tile wall and shape of mirror. ledge, wood, brass...
SG: Very fun mirror. SYH: round mirror, fun if we can make it work for one of the original wing baths (round works better with just one sink)
SG: Like the way it wraps up the back wall. Agree that it's not the right color SYH: floor tile wraps up the back wall of the west end bathroom (but not black)
SG: This is very nice. Like this a lot. SYH: this layout / glass panel in west end bath (linen tower moves to south end of vanity)
SG: I am stuck on orange floor! SY: white with a great floor - and a portrait!
tile is like 1970s marshmallows. SY: lol!
