One of the key pieces of knowledge that interior design and architects rely on for a successful home aesthetic is to repeat chosen key features. This design consistency – and it doesn’t need to be big or permanent – creates a sense of cohesion and flow throughout a home. This select repetition principle remains true regardless of whether the home is a new build, a period-true addition or a modern extension to a heritage home. Here, we show you 18 features – from architectural features to colour and material choice – that have been repeated to demonstrate why this fundamental rule works so well.

l have kept my cabinetry and wardrobes the same as all doors. All csbinetry handles through out the apartment are the same and all bench tops in kitchen and bathroom. All my tapware and door handles are in polished chrome. l have tried to keep features repeating through out the apartment.
Thank you The Doktor
i dont care about other people's opinions on my taste
it was more so whether instead of blending in and feel spacious- it will be glaringly obvious and feel confined
i cant visualise - so its tough for me to work out what the end result will look like so it would be an expensive mistake
bring in the experts i guess !
thanks. l said that exactly yo the guy that was trying to sell me the latest fashion in tiles, when l did not like them.
We have to live in the apartment for hopefully the rest of our lives so l want it how l want it.
