ARTIS PURA Designs

Hi Catherine, That really depends on the Architect. Most have access to an Interior Designer within their practice which could be included in their fee structure. If not, then there would be extra cost to engage your own. I generally tell my clients that they should let their Architect know they will be engaging their own interior designer and the architect will be working with them on the project. If you are happy with the design of the architect, maybe a decorator or stylist might be all you require for the finishing touches.

This article clearly highlights the differences between Interior Designers, Decorators and Stylists and is very important on the understanding of how a client should approach which professional. Thank you for stating this fact as unfortunately with so many renovating shows on the TV at the moment suddenly everyone is an Interior Designer!
